Ron Ben-Yehuda, Board Member
Ron Ben-Yehuda is a transactional intellectual property and corporate attorney with more than twenty years of experience structuring and negotiating transactions to commercialize intellectual property, technology, content, brands and other assets. His practice focuses on domestic and international licensing, development, services, marketing, and distribution transactions, as well as joint ventures and mergers and acquisitions. He is a frequent lecturer and author speaking at numerous technology and legal conferences. Mr. Ben-Yehuda earned a B.A. in economics, Phi Beta Kappa, summa cum laude, from Yale College, and a J.D., with distinction, from Stanford Law School.

Curt Hessler, Board Member
Curt Hessler is an attorney and former Assistant Secretary of the Treasury for Economic Policy; Executive Director of President Jimmy Carter’s Economic Policy Group; and Associate Director of the President’s Office of Management and Budget. In addition, he has more than two decades of experience at the CEO/Board-level leadership in the media and technology industries. Mr. Hessler is a Lecturer in Law at the UCLA School of Law with extensive experience in finance, strategic development, and law.

Francisco Mares, Board Member
Francisco Mares is Payroll Director of Screen Actors Guild – American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (SAG-AFTRA). He is responsible for the oversight of payroll administration, regulatory compliance, communication, and development of team members. Mr. Mares is a member of the American Payroll Association and is serving a second 2-year term on the FPC Certification Committee. In 2014, he was elected President of the Los Angeles Chapter of American Payroll Association and served prior in leadership positions as Treasurer and Secretary. A Certified Payroll Professional since 2008, he has mentored others in their pursuit for certification.

Julie Stern, Board Member
Julie Stern is an accomplished producer, television network executive and production consultant with a long record of developing award-winning programming for most network and cable entertainment companies. Over the course of more than 25 years, Stern has built a robust network of industry relationships that includes top broadcast executives and CEOs, producers, production companies, agents, talent, managers, as well as numerous celebrities and influencers. She remains highly regarded as an industry expert and in-demand partner. Her success as a network executive, combined with her third-party production background, gives her a unique 360-degree view into all aspects of long and short-form programming that has consistently translated to returns on network investments.

Dana Walden, Board Member
Dana Walden is an award-winning composer, performer, producer, and director. His early career included two multi-million selling pop songs and more than 70 scores for film and television. He currently serves as the founder and principal producer of Enlightened Innertainment which creates education and entertainment media platforms. Whether it’s a non-profit model or inside the classroom, Mr. Walden has brought his passion and inspiring vision to the goals of each organization. More than 20 years ago, Mr. Walden co-founded Laurel Canyon Animal Company, a record label specializing in fundraising for animal rescue organizations and student awareness programs in middle schools.
