A Message Regarding Halloween Costumes

Students at ISANA Palmati Academy may wear Halloween costumes to school tomorrow, Thursday, October 31st. However, costumes must not interfere with the student’s duties and responsibilities, both in and out of class.

Students who wish to dress up are reminded of the following guidelines:

  • Masks are not allowed. Nothing may be worn that covers a student’s face or hides a student’s identity.
  • Costumes must be age-appropriate and not disparage any ethnic group, religion, political party, gender, sexual identity, or individual.
  • No toy or simulated weapons of any kind are allowed on campus and cannot be used as part of a costume.
  • Costumes should not include items with sound effects, lights or other components that would disrupt the classroom learning environment
