Sunday, January 17, 2021 10:00 am – Free Produce Box Giveaway

East Hollywood Neighborhood Council, Councilmember Mitch O’Farrell’s Office, and Children’s Hospital are continuing their partnership with Rick’s Produce Market to give away fresh produce boxes to East Hollywood stakeholders.

LocationRick’s Produce Market (Parking Lot), 755 N. Virgil Ave, LA, CA 90027)


  • Boxes are distributed on a first come, first served basis while supplies last. Please line up early to ensure you get a box.
  • Limit one box per household.
  • We are invested in the safety of our community – please wear a mask and maintain social distance while waiting in line.

Friday, January 22 @ 11:00 am – Parent Workshop

Peace Over Violence, El Centro del Pueblo and GRYD Northeast LA are hosting a series of free virtual parent workshops.  The workshops take place via Zoom and seek to provide tools that parents can use to maintain a healthy, happy, and confident home.

Tuesday, January 26 12:30 pm – Free Food Distribution

Manos Que Sobreviven and the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank are giving away fresh produce boxes.

Location: Irving Steam Magnet School, 3010 Estara Avenue, Los Angeles CA, 90065


  • Line formation begins at 11:30am.
  • Please wear a face mask.
  • No eligibility required.


Community Resources:

LA City Councilmember Gil Cedillo, the Los Angeles Homeless Services Authority, Exodus Recovery, and The Shower of Hope have launched their Safe Parking Program in Glassell Park and Westlake.
